“And the danger is that in this move toward new horizons and far directions, that I may lose what I have now, and not find anything except loneliness.” Syvlia Plath, The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath
Every now and then I am surprised with the outcome of a particular photograph – this being one of those moments. I am fascinated with two elements – reflections and shadows – and always with an abstract or surreal feel/look. My reflection here captured in an antique mirror – creating an ambience with texture. Then add in the woman – the subject – candid. Her glance – looking upwards. I do not think I could have planned this image – as for myself it offers a story. This story is piece from my “Prelude” series – where small stories/images are pieced together offering a larger story/book. Within “the 52 week Project” I will share more of the “Prelude” series – offering a glimpse into the larger story.
